Creating a better Jamaica… Creating a better World…

The mission of the RuJohn Foundation is to provide the necessary educational tools for rural schools throughout Jamaica and select U.S. cities.

We hope to stress the importance of hard work and perseverance through athletics. We believe that by giving children the tools to succeed, they will rise up and overcome adversity, creating a better Jamaica and a better World.

What began as a small once a year event in Montego Bay has now grown into an island wide program that has received commendation from government figures, educators, parents and children. We are now expanding our programs into Florida and other select US cities.

The RuJohn Foundation promotes education through athletic contests.

Over the years we have had more than 25 professional athletes participate in our yearly celebrity sports camps. More than 750 children and 200 adults have experienced our camps, leaving them with unique memories, life lessons and, for children, the motivation to do well in school. In addition to these camps, we've been able to provide school supplies, athletic gear, computer equipment and funding for many educational programs.

RuJohn Foundation Synthetic Track

The RuJohn Foundation is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Florida. Since our inception, we have provided many workshops, school supplies, academic scholarships, and refurbished basketball courts. We have embarked on a major project to provide a high quality track for young athletes at a high school called Kingston College in Jamaica. The substandard dirt track at some of the leading schools has major concerns with injuries for some of the performing athletes. Having a good track will give the students an opportunity to reach their full potential.
We are $75,000 short of meeting our goal and would appreciate your assistance! Visit our GoFundMe if you'd like to help.
