“RuJohn Foundation, words cannot express how thankful I am to have been chosen as the 2013 Portia Simpson Millerscholarship recipient! Your scholarship was an answer to my prayers. Your generosity and support throughout my tenure in medical school have contributed to making my dreams attainable. Additionally, being a part of this foundation has positively contributed to my holistic development as an individual and has reinforced a sense of purpose. Your wholehearted commitment to and investment in the education of the youth of Jamaica is inspiring. May God continue to bless your endeavors! I am forever grateful!”

" Having had the opportunity to work with the RuJohn Foundation through their different volunteerism activities has been truly been remarkable. It is an extreme honor to be apart of a foundation that does work for inner-city communities both locally and internationally while nurturing and fostering development through various sports camps and workshops is beyond commendable. Being a scholarship recipient was the icing to a well-baked cake, they ensured that my educational pursuits were attainable and dubbed me the "Million Dollar Man" making me one of their largest one-time scholarships grant recipients. And now to be apart of the RuJohn Nation Family means to be apart of something greater than myself, it gives me the ability to continue giving back to the community and to continue to play a part in nation-building no matter how small it may be"
