RuJohn Foundation is a 501 c(3), non-profit organization whose mission is to provide the necessary tools for education to the rural and inner-city schools of the United States and Jamaica.

We hope to stress the importance of hard work and perseverance through athletics. We believe that by giving children the tools to succeed, they will rise and overcome adversity, creating a better Jamaica and a better World. 

To fulfill our mission, RuJohn Foundation has developed several programs and initiatives to encourage and motivate inner city and at risk youth throughout the United States and Jamaica. They are as follows:

• Educational Scholarships

• Lunch Programs

• Programs to assist students affected by hurricanes and/or natural disasters

• Program to donate school supplies and holiday dinners

• Assist schools in building athletic programs and provide athletic equipment for those in need

• Assist underserved communities

Since 2013, the RuJohn Foundation has partnered with Community Coalition in South Los Angeles to provide an annual Thanksgiving Dinner and gifted individual families with a holiday turkey. This year, the RuJohn Foundation was able to provide dinner for 400 people and gift 133 families with a turkey to cook on Thanksgiving Day.
